Eric Trowbridge

Headmaster & Executive Director

Eric Trowbridge is the Executive Director & Headmaster of Array, School of Technology and Design. Eric was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming and graduated from Central High School in 2004.

Prior to joining Array, Eric previously worked in the film industry in Los Angeles where he worked in art departments for various short and feature films. Eric later worked for Apple Inc., in San Francisco, New York City, and Chicago as a People Leader. In 2014, Eric left Apple Inc. and moved back to Wyoming after eight and a half years to found apixal LLC, a video game start-up at which he currently serves as its Chief Executive Officer.

Matt Kaufman

Matthew Kaufman

Chairman of the Board & Co-founder

Matt Kaufman is a partner with Hathaway & Kunz, P.C, based in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Matt’s legal practice focuses on business, corporate, transactional and litigation matters, and he regularly advises clients on matters and transactions ranging from entity formations, financings, and operational issues, to intellectual property protection, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance and contractual disputes.

Matt is deeply involved in local and regional entrepreneurship. Matt, along with Bob Jensen co-founded the Wyoming Entrepreneurs group that meets in Cheyenne, has a published academic article on developing entrepreneurship in Wyoming, is counsel to numerous start-ups companies across Wyoming, is an active investor in technology and start-up companies, and has been a guest speaker on issues regarding start-up funding legal issues surrounding start-ups in Wyoming.

In addition to graduating from the University of Wyoming with a B.A. and J.D., Matt has also received a graduate law degree (“LLM”) from the University of Colorado in entrepreneurial law, which has equipped him to provide more highly skilled representation to entrepreneurs, start-ups and emerging companies, as well as established businesses, on more complex business transactions and strategies. Matt was recently selected as one of the Mountain States SuperLawyer “Rising Stars”, he has been selected by the National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 40 Under 40 for the State of Wyoming, has been selected by American Society of Legal Advocates as a Top 40 under 40 in Wyoming, and a National Trial Lawyers Top 100 for 2015.

Bob Jensen

Bob Jensen

Co-founder & Board Member

Robert (Bob) Jensen is a fourth generation Wyoming native. He currently serves as Director of Government Affairs for the Wyoming office of Holland & Hart, LLP. His recent previous professional experience includes ten years as COO and CEO of the Wyoming Business Council, the economic development entity for the State of Wyoming. Prior business experience includes a 27-year career at Fleischli Oil Co. serving as President of the regional firm until its sale in 1997 and as a partner in the 2001 renovation of the Historic Plains Hotel in Cheyenne.

While at the Wyoming Business Council, Jensen oversaw the development of targeted incentive programs to attract technology companies to locate in the state such as the National Center for Atmospheric Research Super Computer Facility, Microsoft, and Greenhouse Data.

Jensen also serves as the volunteer board chairman of K9s 4 Mobility, a Wyoming 501c3 Not for Profit Corporation that trains and places Assistance Dogs with people who have physical and visual disabilities. He is active in various organizations including Wyoming Entrepreneurs, the University of Wyoming, College of Business Advisory Board, Cheyenne LEADS Board of Directors, the Wyoming Access to Justice Commission, the Laramie County Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, and the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation Board.

He has served previously in various capacities including the boards of The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Wyoming, The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, the U. S. Chamber of Commerce, Laramie County Library, Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority and the Cheyenne, Laramie County Economic Development Joint Powers Board.

He is married to Jill Jensen and they have one daughter, Jessica, who is married to Edward Wong.

Steve Borin

Steve Borin

Co-founder & Board Member

Steve Borin graduated with an Applied Science Degree from Ferris State College in 1978. Steve continued his education and graduated with a Pharmacy Degree in 1981 and went on to receive a Doctorate of Clinical Pharmacy in 1983.

Steve became an associate Professor of Medicine and Pharmacy Professional at the University of Wyoming’s family practice. During that time, Steve co-created one of the first online international drug interaction programs for the industry.

Steve later owned a local pharmacy in Cheyenne and became a forerunner in home infusion drug care as the CEO of MicroDrip Infusion Care. He has opened and managed numerous pharmacies while being involved with multiple boards.

Steve is now currently the owner and CEO of Borin Land Co., which has developed four shopping centers, seven buildings, and two subdivisions.

Jesse Fishman

Jesse Fishman

Co-founder & Board Member

A native of Ohio, Ms. Fishman was drawn to the west and has lived in the Rocky Mountain region since 2003. After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. in English and psychology, Ms. Fishman founded and ran a small business where she designed, imported, and sold accessories from India. She also worked for an organization that recruited and trained women to run for political office.

In 2012, she earned a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and began practicing at a civil litigation firm in Denver, Colorado. In December of 2014, she moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming to join a general practice law firm, Hathaway & Kunz. As an attorney at Hathaway & Kunz, Ms. Fishman advises clients on transactional matters, focusing on entrepreneurial and start-up issues, and represents clients in a broad range of civil disputes. Her entrepreneurial background allows her to think outside the box in developing and implementing creative solutions for her clients.

Ms. Fishman is active in the community. In 2016, she volunteered as the co-chair of a nine-week concert series, Fridays in the Hynds. Ms. Fishman spends her free time traveling (26 countries so far), skiing, and hiking.

Tighe Fagan

Tighe Fagan

Co-founder & Board Member

Tighe specializes in technical leadership and software architecture and has 18 years of experience with full life cycle application development. Working closely with businesses and government agencies, Tighe provides enterprise software, web application, and business-to-business solutions. He has worked as a software consultant in Wyoming and Colorado and has worked for the Wyoming Department of Health, Level3 Communications, Qwest Communications, Access International Financial Services, and Raytheon Systems Company. After earning his bachelor’s degree in computer science at the University of Wyoming, he continued on to receive his master’s degree.

He is married and has three children.

Glen Garrett

Glen Garrett

Co-founder & Board Member

Architect Glen Garrett, AIA, provides professional and consulting services focusing on architectural design, project development, and planning.

He has applied his skill set in the conceptual design and organizational development stages of many Cheyenne projects and community efforts. He served on the Charter Board of Directors of the Cheyenne Development Authority, architectural consultant and marketing designer for the funding of the Wyoming Transportation Museum and later as the principal design architect for the Historic Cheyenne Depot Museum, and architectural consultant and planning advisor in the early development of the Children’s Museum of Cheyenne. Glen led a group of concerned citizens to found a 501(c)(3) non-profit, LightsOn!, dedicated to adding to downtown Cheyenne’s vitality through education and the arts.

Glen received his accredited architectural degree from the School of Architecture and Urban Design, Washington University, St. Louis. He holds a Registered Professional Architect license from the State of Wyoming and has served his profession as President of the AIA Wyoming, a component of the American Institute of Architects.

Glen also set six national freediving records in the discipline of dynamic apnea without fins (DNF), represented the United States in a competition with Japan in Tokyo, and ranked 22nd of 190 competitors at the World Championships despite being the most senior competitor.

Catherine Fincun

Catherine Fincun

Industry Recruiter at IBM Design

Cat Fincun is an Industry Design Relations & Recruiter for IBM Design. Prior to IBM Design, Cat was a freelance promotions designer, community developer, and Brewery Manager in Colorado. She worked with the cultural and city development departments to bring together entrepreneurs across multiple industries including independent ski makers, craft libation-eurs, restauranteurs, crafters, and urban developers. Cat received her MBA from University of South Australia and Undergraduate from Miami University of Ohio.

Cat is also a board member of AIGA Austin and a past board member of AIGA Colorado.

Dillion Petrillo

Dillon Petrillo

Film Creative Lead at Airbnb

Dillon Petrillo is a Creative Lead and founding member of Airbnb’s Film Department. Since 2010, he has helped shape and define the brand’s look and tone through internal and external marketing, PR, and product efforts. Prior to Airbnb, Dillon was a freelance videographer and an undergrad at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

He is the winner of the 2009 Wyoming Short Film Festival, a 2015 Webby Award Honoree, and a 2015 Passion Award recipient.

Emma-Jane Alexander

Emma-Jane Alexander

Shell 3D Visualization Manager at The University of Wyoming

Emma-Jane graduated with a BS(Hons) computing and mathematics degree in Visualization from the University of Teesside (2000) and an Executive MBA (2006) from the University of Hull (both UK). She takes great pleasure in utilizing both technical and management skills to explore and nurture the successful adoption of technology and software in visualization centers based at higher education institutions.

Currently the manager of the Shell 3D Visualization Center at UW, Emma-Jane enjoys the challenge of bringing together 3D visualization and supercomputing experts with faculty, students and businesses to enhance teaching, research and commercial productivity. She is interested in developing new multidisciplinary collaborative relationships with faculty and parties external to UW.

Emma-Jane holds a provisional patent in the development of a virtual therapeutic treatment for obesity, and has practical and strategic interests in STEM activity and is the current president of a national committee called THE CAAV (Campus Alliance for Advanced Visualization) which aims to strengthen and nurture visualization practices across the country, for and between both academia and industry.

Chad Willett

Chad Willett

Founder of West Edge Collective

Chad is a proud Wyoming native with over 15 years professional experience who bleeds marketing, design and technology. Chad led the strategy, creative and development of internal and client solutions in marketing and technology for over 10 years as the original founder of Warehouse Twenty One, an award winning full-service marketing and advertising firm in Cheyenne.

Having directly developed, or been lead on large advertising and technology projects for Government, Healthcare, Financial, Gaming, and other industries in Wyoming, his experience is well rounded between strategy, creative, digital, production, and fulfillment services. Not only is he a unique amalgamation of client services, his ability to lead multi-million dollar projects and develop internal teams has been proven time and time again.

Laura Wishingrad

Personalization Consultant at RichRelevence

Former Human Computer Interaction Intern at Apple Inc.

Laura is a user experience professional, with previous roles in interaction design, and more recently in insight-driven testing and optimizations. In her current role as a Personalization Consultant, Laura works with top retailers to use personalization to remove friction across all customer touch points.

Laura received her Masters from UC Berkley’s School of Information, and her Bachelors in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego. She currently lives in Paris, France.

Heather Morgan Shoemaker

Heather Morgan Shoemaker

Owner, Co-Founder of Language I/O

Heather is co-founder and managing partner at Language I/O, a software company that enables help desk agents to support customers in any language. Language I/O clients include LinkedIn, iRobot, SurveyMonkey, PACCAR, Cablevision and numerous other global companies. Prior to Language I/O, Heather worked in a variety of corporate environments as a software developer, technical consultant, product manager and VP of engineering. Heather was senior director of product management and globalization for a division of Pearson Education. While at Pearson, Heather and her team built a new generation, online college education platform, which was launched globally.

Prior to that, Heather was VP of Engineering at Lingoport, a Boulder, Colo.-based software internationalization firm. At Lingoport, Heather built a development team from the ground up, launched a new product and managed numerous Fortune 500 clients.

Heather holds a Masters of Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder College of Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies form the University of Washington in Seattle. She has lived all over the United States and Mexico and speaks English and Spanish.
